Race 3: Over for another year
11/05/08 11:44
Well done to Dave V, Cris P and Laurie C for their wins
in the respective categories of race 3. The detailed
results have been posted in the usual spot so make sure you
check them out. I should also take the opportunity
to mention the great efforts of some of our
runners in recent weeks. Kelly, Paul and Dave
Madden all took on the Canberra Marathon - and won
- and Dave Vlotman and Keith once again proved
they are Ironmen in Port Macquarie. Well done to
you all!
Race 2 results and trivia night

If you visit our results page you'll find
an updated spreadsheet and progressive tally of
our 2008 race results. Congratulations to Dave,
Cris and Paul for winning the top points in the
Men's, Women's and Handicap groupings
respectively.
Also, after some consultation around the club this year's trivia night has been removed from our calendar. Although a success as a fundraiser, the night was intended primarily as a social event for members of the Joggers. Although there has been a loyal group of members who have attended this event over the past three years it has been non-members who have made up the bulk of the numbersand so it can't really be considered a success.

Race 1: run and won
10/02/08 20:51
Race 1 was run and won toady in perfect conditions.
Congratulations to Cris, Dave and Kelly for their
respective wins in the women's, men's and handicap
competitions. You will find the results posted on the
results 2008 page. This year the
page will feature the current top ten with a
downloadable excel file that'll contain the full
results and race times. Today our AGM was also
held and, for those of you who couldn't attend
you'll be surprised to know that the same crowd
held onto their "executive" positions following a
close vote. Our 2008 calendar was also
ratified with a change to the race 3 date.

I've dug up a bunch more photos from the past couple of

Race 1, AGM, and handicap results
27/01/08 15:16
Our first race for 2008 is quickly approaching and will
be held along with the AGM on 10 February 2008.
Currently it appears it will be an event free AGM with
no issues yet raised for discussion. Our calendar is however a
standing issue so please consider it before the
day. Already the ANZAC Day weekend has been
highlighted as an issue and the likely change to
be considered is moving it forward one weekend to
the 20th. Finally, please (finally) find attached
an excel file with the full results for
the 2007 handicap series.

planning to work off all those extra calories you
consumed over the holiday period. So, you'll need to
familiarise yourself with our calendar of events for 2008.
Race 1 is scheduled for 10 February and it will be
followed by our AGM. If you have any items for the
AGM please let me know ASAP. See you at Balmoral!
