Race 4 has been run and won with Kath Madden, Dave Vlotman and Dorothea Collins taking the points over the challenging (read hilly) Beauty Point route (full results here)

Joggers

You’ll find all the details of race 3 on the results page now. Well done to Mark, Kath and Merran for heir wins in the men’s, women’s and handicap categories.

A reminder that race 4 is on Sunday June 26. Please let Shelley know if you can bring some food for the bbq.  Start time is 8.00 at the bottom of the hill, which will mean we start the first gun no later than 8:20.

In spite of a near washout due to torrential rain, a hardy group of joggers took to the streets for race two of the Bears season. Find all the results here.

Note that one team member runs the route as mapped (down Bradleys Head Rd) while the other team membe continues along Middle Head Rd and turns left into Raglan St, doing the mapped route in reverse.

Race 1 for the Joggers was held recently with Kath Madden, Dave Vlotman and Merran Butler (handicap) taking the honours. Full results have been posted here.

At the AGM Shelley Kirkwood was elected unopposed to the Presidency with Dave Madden taking the mantle of Vice President. I wish them well in their new roles. Laurie Coleman and Rob Jones continued in their roles as Treasurer and Secretary respectively.

Finally, in recent days the Joggers website has migrated to a different provider. If you experience any problems with accessing the site, be sure to email me and let me know.

The Joggers race series for 2011 kicks off on 13 February so make sure you get your final training runs in and shine your runners! As always, race 1 will be followed by the AGM.

At 8am on 15 August the raffle was drawn at Balmoral by Anne (Joggers member Leigh’s visiting mum). The winners are:
