In memory of Reg Conway

Reg Conway passed away on Saturday January 3rd 2009.
reg 028
Reg will be remembered as a joggers club stalwart. In 2007 Reg was recognised for his contribution to the club with a life membership. He was a founding member; the first Club Secretary; Club President for almost 30 of our 41years; wrote as "running bear" for the Leagues Club journal for many years and; along with Doug Ford ensured our race day BBQs went well. Reg's running credentials were impressive too, having run more than 1000 miles (1600km) a year for more than 20 years. Perhaps our fondest memories will be of Reg's wonderful sense of humour and great enjoyment of life. With Reg's passing, all of our lives have lost some lustre.

Reg will be greatly missed by all members of Norths Joggers and our heartfelt condolences go to his family and friends.
