Weekly runs
Each week a run is chosen by our keeper of the board and posted at our meeting point. The routes are chosen on a relatively random basis so you'll never really know which one we'll be doing. Most are in the 9km to 12km range but the length increases across winter to coincide with our longest race (15km) in July and the City to Surf. As all runs start and finish at Balmoral runners who are not up to the full distance can always find a short cut.
A sample of our runs is below and will be gradually added to. You will find some of our other routes on the race routes page.
The bush track runs
A favourite among our members, these runs take in the beauty of the bush tracks through Sirius Cove, Bradley's Head and Chowder Bay with a number of options to finish including the bush track through Georges Heights.
Tania Park / Manly
These long challenging runs aren't for the faint hearted with plenty of hills to be conquered. However, the view from Tania Park is one of the best in Sydney and well worth the effort to get there.
Clontarf runs
Nice runs with some pleasant bush tracks. The knowledge that you'll catch those fast runners when the Spit Bridge opens unexpectedly on them will allow you to relax and enjoy your surroundings.
